The goal was to develop a visual identity and supporting brand materials that balanced professionalism with warmth. The identity needed to express the organisation’s core values, expert, evidence based service delivered with genuine care.
The main challenge was creating a visual style that felt calm, trustworthy, and approachable while still conveying clinical credibility. The initial logo direction also required refinement, the client preferred vibrant colours, which didn’t match the intended tone, so I guided them toward a softer palette. Another challenge was designing an icon that aligned with the name “Flourish” without resembling a florist or spa, ensuring it remained distinctive and appropriate for the brand.
The final outcome was strong and cohesive. The icon combined a subtle flower to represent growth with a bowl shape to reflect the nutrition element, all expressed in a gentle colour palette that complemented the brand. Together, these elements created an identity that felt warm, meaningful, and aligned with the brief. The client was grateful and very pleased with their new visual identity.
